I will provide advice on military careers and scholarships

About:

If you or a family member are considering enlisting in the military, or becoming an officer via an officer accession program before, during, or after college, I can help. In addition to my own experiences in 25 years' serving, two jobs make me especially qualified to assist you:
  • 1996 - 1999. ROTC instructor at the University of San Diego and San Diego State University. Taught, coached, and mentored Navy and Marine Corps midshipmen and officer candidates through college, OCS preparation, and leadership development.  100% commissioned in my tour.
  • 2013 - 2016. JROTC instructor and Commandant at Marine Leadership Academy, Chicago, a public 7-12 school. Assisted students who wanted to enlist, apply to the Naval Academy, or receive an ROTC college scholarship. Prepared young men and women for life in the military, regardless of branch.
I can tell you:
  • Differences between enlisting route verses college and officer route.
  • What happens after you sign - the process.
  • How to prepare - for boot camp, or OCS.
  • How to be competitive and apply for an ROTC scholarship, or the academies.
  • Any questions about "life in the military."
  • Military Lawyers or Doctors - will they pay for that?
